Send the drawings that explain the task

For a die casting machine enquiry, prepare the part drawing, alloy designation and complete mould envelope. Add the shot requirement where available and describe the operations after ejection. If tooling is being planned, explain which parts of the requirement are already decided. Keep drawing revisions clear so the equipment conversation uses the same component and tool information. For injection molding or press equipment, describe the material, tooling and operation the proposed machine needs to carry out.

Describe the site and equipment scope

Include the project location, available utilities and a floor layout where possible. State whether you are replacing a machine, adding an auxiliary or developing a connected cell. Identify equipment that you plan to retain and explain its interfaces with the proposed installation. Show the routes for metal feeding, part removal or material preparation as appropriate to the process. Those details help give the quotation a clear scope around the actual work and space at your site.

Make the quotation request specific

Name the machine family or auxiliary task you want to discuss and explain the application in the message. Include the quantity you are considering and your delivery requirements as part of the enquiry. Ask for the proposed configuration and the equipment or support activities to be included. If the project has several parts, distinguish the machine, mould, peripherals and downstream operations. A clearly described request gives the discussion a useful structure and makes it easier to review the resulting proposal against your intended scope.

If an attachment is needed for the technical discussion, describe it in your opening message and use email to share the relevant drawings. Identify the equipment or component to which each drawing belongs.
