HOT CHAMBER / DM FAMILY
DM Hot Chamber Die Casting Machine
The DM hot chamber die casting machine range provides a starting point for zinc, tin and lead alloy projects. Describe the component and tooling so the series discussion can focus on your casting task.

Begin the DM discussion with the component
A useful DM enquiry describes what the casting needs to do. Include the alloy designation, part geometry, functional surfaces and any finishing operations. Explain which features are formed in the die and which will be finished later. A drawing gives the machine discussion a common reference when considering the tool and handling arrangement. Hardware, electronic products and machinery accessories can have very different removal requirements even when they share a material or a similar outside shape.
DM series models: DM15, DM25, DM38, DM50, DM58, DM70, DM90, DM130, DM160, DM200, DM250, DM350, DM450 and DM550.

Build a tooling brief for the hot chamber route
Gather the die envelope, mounting faces and parting direction before choosing a configuration. Add the arrangement for ejection and the space occupied by slides or projecting connections. Those details help frame the relationship between the machine opening and the path used to remove the component. If the mould is still being developed, explain which parts of the assembly are decided and which need a tooling discussion. Keep drawing revisions together when sharing the enquiry.
03 / SERIES
Coordinate spraying and extraction around the die
The open tool needs access for the jobs between shots. Describe how spraying equipment will approach the die faces and how the casting will be gripped or supported during removal. Existing peripheral equipment may influence the arrangement, so include its working envelope and connection requirements. YOMATO offers auto sprayers and auto extractors as part of its auxiliary equipment range. Discuss the intended sequence around the press before fixing the position of each item on the floor.

Take the DM enquiry beyond a model name
For a focused conversation, send the component drawing, alloy, tooling information and intended cell layout. Explain whether the project concerns a machine replacement or a new production arrangement. Name any operations that must happen after extraction, including conveying or trimming, and identify the equipment you plan to retain. Compare the DM family with the wider hot chamber range using the same project brief. Ask for a quotation that addresses the proposed configuration, order quantity and delivery requirements together.
Where several components share a project, describe the tooling and removal task for each separately. Keep those differences visible when discussing how the proposed DM arrangement will be used.
