HOT CHAMBER / PROCESS ROUTE
Hot Chamber Die Casting Machine
Explore YOMATO hot chamber die casting machines for zinc, tin and lead alloys. Compare the DM and HTJ families around the material, tooling and handling needs of your component.

Choose the alloy before the machine family
The material designation provides the starting point for a hot chamber enquiry. Name the alloy and describe the surfaces, geometry and finishing requirements of the casting. Keep that information attached to the part drawing as you compare equipment. Automotive parts, motorcycle accessories, home appliances, electronic products, hardware accessories and machinery accessories can each involve different tooling tasks. An application label helps explain the setting, while the drawing explains what the equipment must produce.

Explore DM and HTJ as separate ranges
DM and HTJ are YOMATO hot chamber families. Open the DM page for a series discussion or use the HTJ range to reach the HTJ58 technical table. Review each proposed machine against its own configuration and the intended component. The relationships between the die, injection system and removal operation deserve attention throughout selection. Keep a consistent enquiry brief so a comparison between families addresses the same alloy, part and production arrangement.

Give the tool enough room to work
A complete die assembly includes more than the cavity. Prepare its external dimensions, mounting arrangement, opening direction and ejection requirements. Explain how the casting leaves the tool and where any handling equipment approaches. Connections and projecting features belong in the envelope drawing. Check access with the die open as well as closed, especially where a sprayer or extractor shares space with the moving platen. Include the route used to install and remove the tool.

Connect the hot chamber cell to downstream work
Part removal is the beginning of the handling discussion. Explain whether the component will be conveyed, trimmed or taken to another operation, and show those destinations on the layout. YOMATO offers extraction, spraying, conveying and trimming equipment alongside its casting machines. Identify the tasks you want to automate and the equipment already in use. Send the component drawing, alloy, mould information and project location together so the machine enquiry can address the complete casting cell.
Mark the proposed separation between the melt supply, machine and downstream station. That sketch gives the hot chamber comparison a physical setting and makes the handling questions easier to identify.
